Punjab Govt Announces 9 Eid Holidays for Daanish Schools 2024: The Punjab government has declared a nine-day holiday for Daanish Schools across various districts in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024. This holiday period will span from April 6 to April 14, allowing students at Daanish Schools in Rahim Yar Khan, Hasilpur, Chishtian, Mianwali, Attock, DG Khan, Rajanpur, and Vehari to enjoy the festivities. A notification issued by the provincial government states that classes will conclude on April 5, allowing students to commence their break. These extended Eid holidays aim to provide students with ample time for preparations and active participation in the Eid celebrations.

However, it was later confirmed to be false, as the government has yet to officially declare any Eid holidays. Typically, Eid holidays begin a day earlier to allow individuals ample time for preparations and engagement in festive activities. This year, it’s anticipated that Eid holidays will span from April 9 (Tuesday) to April 12 (Friday), with the inclusion of weekend breaks on Saturday and Sunday. Although there’s talk of a potential four-day holiday period from April 9 to April 12, alongside the regular weekend breaks, the final decision rests upon consultations with relevant authorities, such as the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The Eid holidays for Daanish Schools are scheduled to last from April 6 to April 14, providing students with a nine-day break. Starting from April 6, the schools will be closed, and regular classes are set to resume on April 15. Additionally, students have been granted permission to leave early on April 5, following the completion of classes, allowing them to begin their holiday preparations ahead of time.
