Budget Announcement 2024-25 for KPK – The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Department, issued a notification on May 21, 2024, regarding the announcement of the KPK Budget 2024-25 on May 24, 2024. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided to present its annual budget for 2024-2025 before the Federal Government announces its budget on June 7, 2024.
The notification states:
Following the approval of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Cabinet has decided to present the Annual Budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the fiscal year 2024-25 to the Provincial Assembly on May 24, 2024. Enclosed is a copy of the approved summary by the Chief Minister for your information.
Notification of Announcement Budget for KPK 2024-2025 on 24 May 2024
The Annual Provincial Budget for the year 2024-25 will presented to the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 24, 2024, at 1500 hours. A copy of the Summary, approved by the Chief Minister, is enclose. As per the Rules of Business, 1985, the Budget Estimates for 2024-25 require Provincial Cabinet approval before presentation. A special budget meeting of the Provincial Cabinet requested for May 24, 2024, at 03:00 PM to discuss Revised Estimates for 2023-24, Budget Estimates for 2024-25, the Annual Development Programme 2024-25, Resource Mobilization Measures/Finance Bill 2024-25, and PFC Recommendations for 2024-25. Summaries will circulated by the Finance and P&D Departments before the meeting. Further necessary actions should be taken with intimation to all concerned.
