Passport Fees Increase in Pakistan From May 08, 2024
The Government of Pakistan has announced a significant rise in fees for fast-track passport services, starting from May 8th. As per the latest notification, the fee for a 36-page Machine Readable (MR) passport, valid for five years, will now be Rs. 12,500. Similarly, the fee for a 72-page passport for the same duration has increased to Rs. 18,500, and for a 100-page passport, it will cost Rs. 23,000. Additionally, the fees for 36, 72, and 100-page MR passports with a validity period of 10 years have also been raised accordingly.

- The cost of a standard 36-page passport, valid for five years, has risen from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,500, while the expedited processing fee has surged from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,500.
- Similarly, for a 36-page passport with a validity of ten years, the fee has climbed to Rs. 6,700 from Rs. 4,500, with the urgent processing fee now standing at Rs. 11,200.
72 Page Passport Fee:
- The price of a standard 72-page passport, valid for five years, has revised to Rs. 8,200, accompanied by an expedited processing charge of Rs. 13,500. For a passport with a ten-year validity period, the regular processing fee is Rs. 12,400, while the urgent processing fee has increased to Rs. 20,200.
100 Page Passport Fee:
- The fee for a 100-page passport valid for five years is now Rs. 9,000 for standard processing and Rs. 18,000 for urgent processing. For a Ten-year validity, the fee is Rs. 13,500 for standard processing and Rs. 27,000 for urgent processing.
