PM Laptop Scheme 2024 :The Prime Minister Laptop Program 2024, launched by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, is now open for registration. This initiative aims to provide free laptops to students across Pakistan, including those in colleges, universities, and technical institutes. Eligible students can register online through the PM Youth Program portal at laptop.pmyp.gov.pk. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will soon open the registration portal, allowing interested students to sign up for a laptop.

The online registration for the Shehbaz Sharif Free Laptop Scheme 2024 is now open, with a tentative deadline set for 30th june 2024. Previous Phase Deadline is March 23. In this fourth phase (IV), an additional 100,000 laptops will be distributed among deserving students based on specific eligibility and distribution criteria. Students who achieve a score of 90% or higher will receive their laptops shortly after registration. The scheme is inclusive, catering to both male and female students across various educational levels, including Metric, Intermediate, FA, FSC, ICS, I.com, DAE, BA, BSC, B.Com, BS, and B.Ed.

The registration for the fourth phase of the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2024 is set to begin shortly. Students interested in applying can do so through the portal established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) at hec.gov.pk. It’s important to note that offline applications will not be considered, and only students who complete the online registration process will be eligible to receive laptops.

Eligibility Criteria

• Enrolled in HEC-recognized public-sector universities or degree-granting institutions.
• Not enrolled in private-sector or government-affiliated colleges.
• Not received laptops from previous Prime Minister Youth Laptop Schemes.
• Not hold dual citizenship or be foreign nationals.
• Complete online registration following the specified procedure.

How to Apply PM Laptop Scheme Online?

Here are the detailed steps for the registration process:

1. Choose the Phase: Begin by selecting the phase for which you are applying. This could be Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, etc., depending on the current phase of the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme.
2. Select University City: Next, from the dropdown menu, choose the city where your university is located. This ensures that you are directed to the appropriate list of universities in your city.
3. Choose University: Once you’ve selected the city, a list of universities in that city will appear. Choose your university from this list.
4. Select Campus: After selecting your university, you will then need to specify the campus you are enrolled in. Please note that you must choose your university first before selecting the campus.
5. Choose Department: Select the department or faculty in which you are currently enrolled.
6. Select Degree Level: Specify the level of your degree program, whether it’s undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate.
7. Specify Year of Study: Finally, indicate the year of study you are currently in. This helps in verifying your eligibility for the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme based on your academic progress.
