Alongside the paper leak, exam centers witnessed disorganized arrangements, leading to overcrowding of students. The lack of adequate furniture resulted in students being compelled to sit on the ground during examinations.
In response to these malpractices, Sindh Boards and Universities urged the BSEK chairman to take decisive action. Despite media coverage highlighting the cheating menace, some students managed to bring mobile phones into exam halls. Education authorities emphasized the enforcement of Section 144 around all exam centers but expressed frustration over the government’s failure to implement it effectively.
